Pre-requisites: 1.0 Foundations for Safeguarding
This module aims to develop your awareness of how heritage organisations undertake safeguarding within the context of public engagement and outreach, and help you to understand how to support this work within the scope of your role.
By the end of this module, you will:
- Understand what your heritage organisation should have in place for safeguarding.
- Identify the gaps in your own knowledge about your heritage organisations' safeguarding arrangements.
- Apply the understanding you gained in the safeguarding foundations module to some scenarios you may encounter in heritage settings.
