Pre-requisites: Foundations for Safeguarding

This module aims to develop your awareness of how your community organisation undertakes safeguarding within the context of providing activities and/or services in a community setting, and help you to understand how to support this work within the scope of your role.

By the end of this module, you will:

• Understand what your organisation should have in place for safeguarding.
• Identify the gaps in your own knowledge about your organisation's safeguarding arrangements.
• Apply the understanding you gained in the safeguarding foundations module to some scenarios you may encounter in running community activities or services..
